as is the sea

An exhibition I was invited to take part in, 'as is the sea' took its lead from a publication by the same name. The large scale black and white photographs that I made in collaboration with Ryan L. Moule were illustrations in the book, and here at South Kensington, groundings was shown in the full, immersive scale we had intended.

I was also asked to show my work cove, consisting of thousands of pieces of polyurethane and polystyrene, collected from the Gower Peninsula, South Wales. These objects wash up in rocky coves as a repugnant simulacra, presenting themselves as man-made, nature-worn object of our times.
